Ingham County Commissioners may hire a third party to create a criminal justice monitoring system to break down the decisions coming out of the county’s courts and prosecutor’s office by demographic groups.
A federal judge granted preliminary approval on Wednesday for an $8 million settlement in the Flint water crisis civil lawsuit from engineering firm Lockwood Andrews & Newnam (LAN).
The Michigan Supreme Court today clarified court rules regarding redacting personal identifying information (PII), in a case involving an Eastpointe woman who claims her mother’s death certificate contains inaccurate information provided by an “unethical attorney.”
