The self-professed executive officer of the Genesee County Volunteer Militia was sentenced to more than four years in prison Friday for clobbering Capitol police with a baton he stole from one of them during chaos on Jan. 6, 2021.
One convicted conspirator in the failed Gov. Gretchen Whitmer kidnapping plot was sentenced to prison Thursday and a second was given probation as the last two of the eight accused conspirators were adjudicated.
