An automated, electric bus may soon be carting visitors around Sleeping Bear Dunes after an Ann Arbor company was awarded a $250,000 grant, Lt. Gov. Garlin Gilchrist II and National Park officials announced Monday.

A two-bill package requiring hotels and rental car companies to provide customers with their policy on smoking fees before renting a vehicle or a room received opposition in committee Wednesday from the lodging and rental car industry association.
