House Speaker Jason Wentworth (R-Farwell) said House Republicans cooperated fully with any outside investigation into former House Speaker Lee Chatfield, and when the matter was turned over to the Attorney General’s office, it was requested that they not investigate independently.
The state Legislature, having met three times in the last 138 days, is in the midst of taking off two more weeks for the hunting recess, even though only 12% of its members have a deer hunting license.
