Rolling into the Labor Day weekend, the Democratic-nominated Supreme Court candidates and their allies have reserved at least $2.4 million in paid media while the Republican nominees & friends have yet to pull the trigger.

U.S. Senate candidate Elissa Slotkin (D-Holly)'s campaign announced that it has agreed to two televised debates in October against Republican opponent Mike Rogers, neither of which were the debates proposed by the Michigan Debate Task Force.

Polling places for the August primary election saw about two million people cast ballots, with about 1.2 million (60%) voting absentee and more than 70,000 (3.5%) vote early, according to Bureau of Elections Director Jonathan Brater.
