U.S. Rep. Elissa Slotkin (D-Holly) is leading Republican former Congressman Mike Rogers 48 to 45 percent due in large part to her near unanimity among Democratic voters, according to Mitchell Research and Communications polling conducted last week for MIRS.
Advocates of ranked-choice voting – where winning candidates are determined through voters ranking them from most to least preferred – are going on a town hall tour to figure out if the public support is there for a constitutional amendment ballot proposal.
