House Takes A Stab At Syringe, Needle Container Requirements

Medical facilities would be required to store sharps, such as needles, syringes, scalpels and more, in a special box called a sharps container for up to 18-months or until the container is 75% filled under SB 482 , which passed unanimously with immediate effect.
More Michiganders On Medicaid Than Before COVID-19 Pandemic

More than 2.6 million Michiganders were enrolled in Medicaid in May 2024 after the year-long redetermination, which means the state added more than 400,000 people since before the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic and dropped 500,000 people since the end.
House Democrats and their allies have either spent or reserved $17.3 million in television and digital spending for the 2023-24 campaign cycle, while House Republicans have spent or reserved $205,074, based on numbers collected by AdImpact and compiled by MIRS.
