A Calhoun County House candidate filed a lawsuit Wednesday asking a court to stop the Board of County Canvassers' re-tabulation of Battle Creek’s absentee ballots in the 44th District House race. The judge, however, ordered the re-tabulation to continue.
Apps Could Not Sell Reproductive Health Data Without Consent Under McMorrow Bill

Residents could not have their "reproductive health data" processed for information or sold to other businesses without consenting specifically to it, under legislation by Sen. Mallory McMorrow (D-Royal Oak), which received committee testimony Tuesday.
When a child in foster care receives federal benefits, the money currently goes into the State of Michigan's pocket.
