UI Benefit Increase Headed To Governor

Senate bills that raise the weekly financial benefits one can receive from unemployment and increase the amount of time a person is eligible for the benefits passed the House Tuesday.

Four Michigan-based companies are the recipients of $355 million in processing and manufacturing electric vehicles (EVs) grants from the U.S. Department of Energy. The DOE announced more than $3 billion in investments for 25 selected areas across 14 states.
