(Source: MIRS.news, Published 06/08/2026) The United Democracy Project, a SuperPAC affiliated with the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), has purchased more than $2 million in ad reservations in support of Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Haley Stevens (D-Birmingham).
Monday's purchase marks the fifth SuperPAC or outside group that has spent money in support of Stevens this campaign season, according to data reviewed on the political advertising website, AdImpact.

Spending from such enigmatic groups as "A Stronger Michigan," "Fight For Michigan" and "Center Forward" have combined for $10 million in advertising spending in support of Stevens. It comes 10 weeks out from the election and a couple of weeks prior to local clerks sending out their absentee ballots.
The campaign for Abdul El-Sayed honed in on the endorsement and the financial support in a press release issued Monday afternoon.
"Abdul has tapped into something that voters are hungry for and that's being reflected in the polls," said El-Sayed's campaign spokesperson Roxie Richner. "AIPAC and the establishment are falling back on the same big money playbook to try to boost Haley and take Abdul down. It's not going to work."
In 2024, United Democracy Project spent nearly $4 million to support Haley Stevens in her primary against former U.S. Rep. Andy Levin, a Jewish leader in Michigan, whose views diverged with AIPAC on funding Israel.
The third candidate in the Democratic U.S. Senate primary is state Sen. Mallory McMorrow (D-Royal Oak).
In related news, Stevens on Saturday hosted an event in Grand Rapids with former Social Security Administration Commissioner Martin O'Malley and Congresswoman Hillary Scholten (D-Grand Rapids) to discuss Haley's fight to protect Social Security for workers in Michigan.
Later that day, Stevens visited local small businesses in Grand Rapids, meeting with small business owners and discussing how she can help Michigan entrepreneurs in the Senate.
On Sunday, Haley Stevens attended a labor picnic with the members of UA Local 85 in Saginaw to discuss how she will support Michigan labor in the Senate.
