Michigan Information &

Research Service Inc.

Independent and
Michigan owned

At MIRS we're proud to be independent of venture capitol, partisan influence and to be the only Michigan owned and operated Capitol News Service.

The company was formed in 1961 by public policy professionals to ensure they would be informed of legislative action while the state's constitutional convention met concurrently in Lansing.
