(Source: MIRS.news, Published 06/26/2025) Michigan State Police detectives on Thursday served a search warrant at the Michigan Lottery Office in Livonia.

However, she did not elaborate.

Jake Harris, a spokesperson with the Michigan Lottery, also did not provide details on the investigation.

“The Michigan Lottery is committed to integrity and transparency,” he said in a statement. “This investigation was initiated by the Lottery and is in no way connected to the integrity of Lottery games. The Lottery will continue to partner with the Michigan State Police in their ongoing investigation.”

Detectives with the state police’s MSP Fraud Investigation Section conducted the search at the Lottery Claims Center on Plymouth Road in Livonia.

The Michigan Lottery also has claim centers in Grand Rapids, Saginaw, Detroit and Sterling Heights as well as its headquarters in Lansing.

The search warrant is the second in a week at a state office.

On June 18, the Attorney General’s office executed a search warrant on the Lansing office of the Michigan Economic Development Corp. and a Farmington Hills home.
