(Source: MIRS.news, Published 12/23/2025) A letter purportedly written by Jeffrey Epstein to disgraced former Michigan State University doctor Larry Nassar was released this week by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ).
The DOJ said Tuesday that it was investigating the letter's authenticity because it was postmarked three days after Epstein’s death in August 2019.

“The FBI has confirmed this alleged letter from Jeffrey Epstein to Larry Nassar is FAKE,” the DOJ posted on X.
The handwritten letter, which appears to reference President Donald Trump, also has a Virginia postmark even though Epstein was jailed in New York and the return address incorrectly identifies where Epstein was being held.
The letter begins, “Dear L.N.,” and says Epstein and Nassar have a “shared … love & caring for young ladies and the hope they’d reach their full potential. Our president also shares our love of young, nubile girls.”
The note was signed, “Yours J. Epstein.”
Nassar was sentenced in January 2018 to prison for first-degree criminal sexual conduct for abusing female athletes under the guise of medical treatment.
Congress recently voted to require the DOJ to publish the documents related to the investigation and prosecution of Epstein, a wealthy financier accused of sex-trafficking charges.
