Cuts To U-M, MSU Can't Be Absorbed By Restricted Endowment Funds, MASU Says

House Speaker Matt Hall (R-Richland Township) told MIRS on Friday that he is “ready to work in good faith” to get a Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 budget done for the K-12 schools by July 1 and that he's prepared to meet with the Governor, the Senate Majority Leader and the Budget Office to make it happen.
