The TikTok influencers also announced at the conference that they would return to the state in the summer.

Pure Michigan spokesperson Nick Nerbonnen said the trip would be in collaboration with the state tourism industry and many other regional and local tourism bureaus.

Whitmer also met with Temrowski, a Grosse Pointe musician known by his stage name Quinn XCII.

Nerbonnen said the conference went well and attendees were happy to see an appearance by Whitmer, who wasn’t scheduled.
