(Source: MIRS.news, Published 08/25/2023) The Michigan twins on trial for supporting the planned kidnapping of Gov. Gretchen Whitmer were willing to die for their cause, according to a video the jury heard Friday.

In the estimated 90-second video clip, Adam Fox, the convicted ringleader of the plot to kidnap the governor in 2020, told others that defendants William Null and Michael Null were “a lot like us” who were “ready to fucking step up.”

“Like, they’re willing to go die for the shit, if need be. They don’t want to die in vain, though,” Fox told members of the Wolverine Watchmen as they met in the basement of the Vac Shack in Grand Rapids, where Fox worked and lived.

The Null twins, 41, and Eric Molitor are on trial in Antrim County Circuit Court on charges of providing material support to a terrorist act and felony firearms in connection with the plot to kidnap and kill Whitmer in 2020.

The trial, being heard before Judge Charles Hamlyn, continues Monday and is expected to last three weeks.

FBI Special Agent Henrik Impola returned to the stand for the third day with Assistant Attorney General Bill ROLLSTIN questioning him about numerous video recordings of Fox and Barry Croft Jr., who also was convicted in federal court in connection with the plot.

In one video, Fox said he is “on board” with the plan and is going “to actively begin recruiting to build my regiment here. … It ain’t going to be no participation trophy fucking bullshit. … We’re going to be putting together elite motherfuckers that are ready to go snatch a motherfucker.”

In separate videos, Impola’s testimony alleged, Molitor and the Null twins can be heard supporting Fox and Croft’s plan to kidnap Whitmer.

Defense attorneys asked if Impola could say whether their clients viewed the videos Fox or Croft posted about their plan, and Impola said he could not unless they commented on a specific video.

But, Impola noted, the defendants can be heard in their own words supporting the plot.

In one video, Molitor is heard saying, “Let’s go in the (state) Capitol and let’s try to get the bitch (Whitmer) before she goes out the back door,” Impola said.

In another exhibit, the prosecution shared an exhibit in which William Null notes: “I agree with everybody.” His statement comes in 2020 during a New Founding Fathers meeting in Dublin, Ohio, at which there was discussion on their plan to target Whitmer.

William Null also repeatedly makes suggestions about operational security, such as getting “communications down” because Facebook and their cell phones have been compromised.

Two days after the Dublin meeting, Fox created a Facebook video explaining how they will kidnap politicians and take away their livelihood as they’ve “sacrificed nothing.”
