The industries with the largest employment gains were trade, transportation, utilities, education and health services. No industry saw a dip over the month.

Over the year, government, education, health services and leisure and hospitality saw the largest gains. Financial activities was the only industry that saw a decrease in payroll jobs over the year.

The total nonfarm jobs have grown by 97,000 since January 2022.
