(Source: MIRS.news, Published 10/26/2022) Sen. Mallory McMorrow (D-Royal Oak)'s two PACs raised a combined $600,000 this period, part of $2.35 million she announced raising to help “flip the Senate.”
Her leadership fund, A More Perfect Michigan, led the leaderboard with a total $517,000 in contributions from 1,101 donors, including names like George Soros and Steven Spielberg.
McMorrow's third quarter fundraising is part of a total $647,000 raised during this election cycle, and after spending $453,000 she has just over $195,000 left in cash on hand.
Her PAC, Hate Won't Win, also reported just over $83,000 this period, the only funds the PAC reported raising during this election cycle. After spending $63,000, the PAC still has $20,000 left in cash on hand.

Other Senators who reported large fundraising numbers include Sen. Mike Shirkey (R-Clarklake), who reported $482,000 across his three Complete Michigan PAC's.
Complete Michigan PAC raised $61,000 this quarter, while the second PAC reported an additional $45,000. Complete Michigan PAC 3 far outraised the others, with $376,000.
Shirkey's three PACs have raised a total of $975,000 during this election cycle.
The next highest fundraiser is Sen. Aric Nesbitt (R-Lawton). The frontrunner to be the next Senate Republican leader, reported a combined $307,000 between two of his three PACs.
Defending Michigan Values reported raising just under $227,000 this period, part of $252,000 raised during this election cycle.
While the Nesbitt Majority Fund reported $80,000 this quarter, part of $265,000 raised this cycle.
After spending over $600,000 this period between his two PACs, Nesbitt has a combined $35,000 in cash on hand in his two PAC's.
His third PAC, Nesbitt Majority Fund 2, reported $177,022 raised for the period and $300,996 overall.
Sens. Stephanie Chang (D-Detroit) and Winnie Brinks (D-Grand Rapids) are leadership candidates for the Senate Democratic caucus post in November and both reported larger fundraising numbers.
Chang reported raising a combined $125,000 between two PAC's, Stephanies Changemaker Fund and the Chang Future Fund.
Stephanie's Changemaker Fund reported just under $113,000 this quarter, part of $192,000 raised during this election cycle.
The Chang Future Fund reported an additional $12,600 this quarter.
Brinks For Michigan, the Senator's only reported PAC, raised under $83,000 this period and $172,000 total. After spending $81,000 this period, the PAC still has $12,750 in cash on hand.
